Online RCR Training via CITI
If you are completing Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training to fulfill a sponsor requirement (e.g., National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), or other), in addition to attending available RCR sessions you are encouraged to use the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) online training system. You will create a CITI account for yourself as a GW learner, then go to the RCR section and complete the training.
The CITI training takes approximately five hours and includes discussion of the following topics, among others:
• Research Misconduct
• Data Acquisition and Management
• Responsible Authorship and Publication
• Peer Review
• Mentoring
• Conflicts of Interest and Commitment
• Collaborative Relationships
